This year, ten gorgeous homes were built for a brand new subdivision, The Parklands at Camas Meadows, in Southwest Washington. The Parade of Homes is located in The Parklands at Camas Meadows, and is an annual event hosted by the Building Industry Association of Clark County. The annual event, produced by the Building Industry Association of Clark County, will provide ideas for building, remodeling, landscaping, decorating and buying a new home. The 2019 Parade will include several new homes by regional builders, including Affinity Homes, Cascade West Development, Glavin Homes and MC Custom Homes. The Parade will also include, for the first time, a remodeled home by Forged Custom Homes. Now in its 42nd year, the NW Natural Parade of Homes is an annual builders’ showcase event, produced by the BIA of Clark County.

“This is such an honor to be featured for a second year in a row,” said Camas Mayor Shannon Turk, at the Feb. 28 groundbreaking event. After showing off luxury homes at The Parklands at Camas Meadows in September 2018, the NW Natural Parade of Homes is coming back to Camas for a second consecutive year. Still, homes are not being built as fast as they were before the recession, said Phil Bourquin, community development director. The Black Pearl is a single-story home that draws design inspiration from the West Indies. Large windows and tall ceilings are responsible for the home’s open, spacious look and feel.
